Committees

Small Business and Technology:
Educates membership on new products and services that reduce reduce the cost of running a business, or streamlines productivitiy. This is accomplished via seminars, segments at chamber meetings, through chamber publications and the newsletter, or in person at the request of member in good standing.

Community & Special Events:
Handles all aspects of chamber sponsored events and programs. Presents ideas to Board of DIrectors for approval, acquires sponsors, generates media attention, offers members in good standing opportunities to get involved, market their businesses and so on.

Membership:
Recruits membership for the chamber and provides info on the chamber to those that make requests. Works to schedule membership drives and gather volunteers to assist. Utilizes website and newsletters to encourage membership and to make the process of getting applications as easy as possible. Also, assists with all major public functions of the chamber. Makes recommendation for new member benefits.

Credit Card Processing - Joe Messina, XtraCash of Stewartsville, NJ Provides low cost, high quality credit card processing for members in good standing.

FOCUS - Ellie Krestefsky, Recorder Publishing of Bernardsville, NJ
A Chamber quarterly, direct mailed newspaper. Contents include chamber news, calendar of events, school, library, Board of Health and other calendar of events. Member spotlights on their businesses, and other chamber news included. Discount rates for members in good standing helps stretch advertising budgets, while reaching a greater market. Color publication.

Town Planner - Jim O'Dowd Town Planner of Morristown, NJ
A Chamber marketing item, annually direct mailed to homes throughout the Somerset Hills Communities. The calendar includes schools, sports, library, recycling info, BTCC Chamber info, and so much more. Ad space available, as well as, placement space for coupon offers.

Verizon - Anna Lustenberg, Verizon of Trenton & Basking Ridge, NJ
The Township's largest employer and BTCC Corporate Sponsor. Offering cell phones, wireless cards, Fios television service.

Business Crime Watch - Bernards Twp Police Deprtment
A Chamber program established with the Police department to provide extra eyes and ears when certain matters arise to a certain law enforcement level. Chamber members in good standing get email alerts of what to look for, or be mindful of, and how to notify the police if anything causes concern, or is seen.

A chamber program established to help members save on office supplies. For chamber members in good standing only.
